Beautiful Place

Wednesday's blog challenge for Two Peas~

What is the most beautiful place you have ever seen?

I have a few places since I can not decide on which is my favorite. My first would be Black River Harbor in Michigan. Wow is that ever breath taking if you get a chance to walk the trials as well to see the waterfalls.I have added some pics to show you just how beautiful this place can be to see. I could sit by Lake Superior and watch the waves for hours and hours. The boys love to play in the sand and listen to the waves.

Now to the left, you see different pictures. These pictures are of Porcupine Mountains in the UP of Michigan. I have never seen anything like this before in my life. Last year while we were on our yearly family vacation to see Neal's 97 year old Grandmother. We took a little road trip to see Lake of the Clouds. Boy was it sure worth ever bit of the drive. I can not believe how beautiful this place is to see. You walk up a small path. Walk up to a rock cliff. Look over it and see this wonderful lake and wooded forest. Just look at those photos. That's just part of what you can see. I'm hoping that we can get back to see this wonderful place in the fall. I can not even begin to think what is looks like with all the colors.

Its just breath taking at how beautiful this wonderful forest is to visit. Neal got some great photos too climbing around on different cliffs. He is one of those who likes to climb and explore what he can find on the edges. I get so worried
when he does this but he gets some great shots and angles. Something I wont do as I'm afraid of heights and not to steady on cliffs. I would be one to fall. In the one picture to the right you can see a rock cliff and a little blob on top. Well that is a photo Neal took climbing around.

Another place I find beautiful is Neal's Uncle Ralph's hunting camp. Its located a few miles away from their home. Its in the forest. Which is beautiful. Uncle Ralph has a deal with them that he can have the hunting camp as long as he keeps the spot up and mowed. It takes him a lot
of work. There he has a little cabin that was from a families resort that closed. It would be very neat to stay out there sometime and see what kind of wild life might show up. One the one side of the cabin there are bear claws and teeth marks. Very interesting.
I'm sorry for rambling on, I love this place in Michigan. Even tho I haven't traveled to many places. I have also been to California. That was nice too. Just don't get to see that as much. Might have to dig some of those photos out to share with everyone. Coronado (sp) Island is nice.
