So, I tended to go towards the Silver. Now, today my answer is very different. I didn't get my first piece of Gold jewelry til I was out of High School. To this day its very important to me. It was something I really wanted and never thought I would have it. I remember sitting at the dining room table with my foster mom looking at a Goodman's ad (local jewelry store) with their Christmas sales. Showing her a Sapphire and Diamond ring I wanted someday. They also had Ruby and Emerald. Well fast forward to Christmas Eve. Opening gifts with my foster parents and the extended family. I get this big box, open it only to find another box with paper in it (old newspaper). Open that box and find a little box. Only to open that and see the ring I had just pointed out to my foster mom a few weeks earlier. I was in tears almost. I had never gotten a gift like this before in my life. Then my foster mom, proceeds to tell me that day, when we were sitting at the dining room table. She was happy to hear I wanted a ring like that, as she and my foster dad had already bought me this very special ring. And it was wrapped in their room waiting to be opened on Christmas Eve. I was in such shock. I never felt so special to anyone in my life to get a wonderful gift like that from them.
Here is that very same ring. I feel bad as I bent it one day and need to get it fixed. Just to worried to let it out of my sight. Its been in my jewelry box now for a few years. I don't want to take the chance and lose the stones. I love this ring! Now to the jewelry I wear today its my Gold Wedding ring (post pics tomorrow after its cleaned), and a dolphin ring. I also have a heart shaped bracelet I never take off, as it was a gift from my boys one year for my birthday.

For my 18th birthday my mom bought me my name ring, it is hard finding things with the name "Eva" I still have it although I don't wear it anymore, but treasure it more than anything!
