Enjoying the wonderful Spring Day!!!

It was a wonderful day here in Southern Minnesota. We spent most of our day outside enjoying this great Spring day. The sun was shining nice and bright!. We could actually be outside with just a t-shirt, sandals. NO COATS finally!!!! Devin enjoyed riding his bike, as well as digging in the dirt. A typical boy that's for sure. He will be hard to bring inside once we build the sand box. I took some great photos today.

Neal & I raked the front lawn. While the two dogs enjoyed laying around on the lawn. It helped me, to get motivated on what to plant. As we got the OK from Neal's best friend whom we rent from to do some landscaping. I'm excited now that the house is sided and I can plant flowers!!!!!! These photos above our of Neal & Devin picking up the stuff we raked. Don't you love the paint job behind them? Its our lovely Post Office.
Devin enjoyed riding his bike (yea we need to work on losing the training wheels), and playing in the dirt. He loves any digging that could be like construction. He has a lot of the little toys. Does not help we have some friends that have a construction company. Pete has let Devin drive the backhoe, and bob cat. He is a typical boy in that part. Austin is with his dad this weekend so I do not have any photos to ad of him.

After we got done raking the yard. It was time to take the dog's for a walk. I'm slowly training Suzy walking on a leash. This is the second time. She did a wonderful job, never had to pick her up once. In fact she walked right up to the neighbors horses, trying to figure out what these huge things are standing at a fence. It was kinda funny she didn't seem to be one bit afraid. Great improvement for my shy little girl. For those of you that don't know I adopted her Feb 15Th from a Puppy Mill. She was used for breeding and that's all. Not much human affection. Breaks my heart to even think of what her life use to be until I brought her home.

Our weather started to turn later in the afternoon. I'm very afraid its going to be one long summer with bad weather. So every time I see dark clouds I start to get very worried. That goes back to last fall with what happened to our car. We had just bought a new car in August and well one and a half weeks after we got it. It hailed baseball size hail and the car was totaled. With us just buying a brand new car its worse. Lucky enough we just got rain and wind. NO HAIL!!! Keep the hail away.

It was a great weekend. Hope you all had a nice weekend as well.

Awesome photos! I can't wait until I get a new battery charger so my camera can get some use again.

What great photos :) It's a great feeling going out coat-free! The kids love it, don't they?

I'm so jealous! I've always wanted to drive a backhoe! :-) :-) :-) The closest I've gotten is a front loader. :-)
