Friday night was a fun time. The Grezzo Gallery in Northfield is having a scrapbook showing. With that they had Wes Thomson in house for the showing of his film "Scrapped". It was a pleasure to view this movie and meet Wes. He sure hit the nail on the head with this show. The display is going to be up at the Gallery for the month of January. Here is a link to the story featured on Northfield.org http://northfield.org/node/2483. Nick & Steve the owners of the gallery are doing something that has never been done before in the scrapping world. That being a showing of actual scrapbookers layouts. Wouldn't it be great if this was the start of something new. I am hoping to possibly find out if we have a scrapping club in town to join and scrap with others in my area. If your in town stop by and check out the gallery, there are some amazing layouts on display.
As for the rest of the weekend it was pretty mellow. We didn't do to much. Neal & I didn't have the boys so it was nice to just hang out. Sat around watched the movie Jack**s 2. Wasn't as funny as we thought it was going to be. Sunday, Neal's parents had us over for dinner. As we were going to do dinner on New Years Day. But we were all sick and didn't want to bring it to them. Love spending time with his parents.
I was finally able to start on the Designing with 2007 Challenge for Two Peas. In this challenge your to complete 4 layouts for the calendar each month. Hoping this will help me get to my scrapbooking goal. Saturday night my good friend (she is like an older sister) stopped over for me to show her how to work her new Cricut. Then we worked on cutting out tags for her daughters benefit breakfast. Her 14 year old daughter was nominated to go to Australia for school in June. So we are going to be selling tickets for the pancake breakfast Jan 28Th.

Awesome post! Congrats on having your work at the gallery, seeing the movie, and meeting Wes! How cool!
I am so jealous! I so wanted to go down for the showing but it just wouldn't have worked out! My husband gave me the DVD for Christmas!
You are so lucky you got to see the movie and meet Wes!
