Looking forward too before Christmas

Today the challenge on Two Peas In A Bucket is
What is one thing you look forward to during these last few days before Christmas?
I'm looking forward to spending time with my family. Around our house it is crazy for Christmas, as the boys celebrate with us, Then they are off to celebrate with their dad's side of the family. We usually try to have our Christmas on Christmas Eve, so they can spend Christmas Day with them. But this year I know Neal's brother and his family are going to be here this Saturday to do it with his parents. Except its the weekend Devin is with his dad. We can not get him as they are doing Christmas at his Aunt's with everyone. I need to sit down with Neal to see when we can get together with Mom & Dad with the boys.
I love spending time with the family making wonderful memories that will be shared for years to come. We do not get together with my birth mom. But I'm hoping to have a small get together with my lil brother and his family, my lil sister and her family, and my other lil brother and his son at our house. Not so much to exchange gifts with everyone. Maybe just for the kids to exchange gifts. Now that there are more cousins I want to start a family get together with my sibling. The joy on the kids faces it just wonderful. We do not go extreme on gifts after all that's now why we celebrate in my eyes anyway. I would love for all the kids to grow up closer then we did with our cousins. Taking pictures and having some food. Listening to the kids having a fun time laughing together. Wonderful memories for the kids to have with cousins.

Memories of time with family is the best gift of all! I hope you, your siblings and kids can all get together to celebrate. Even if it's a few days after Christmas - the date on the calendar isn't what's important - just that we have that opportunity to be together. :)

I think you're doing a wonderful job at creating great memories for your children to remember for years to come. Sounds like you had an awesome weekend!

spending time with family making wondeful memories is what it's all about.
