One year ago today

Was a morning I hope I never have to live thru again. We had baseball size hail come down in Northfield. You can look at the photo gallery on the local website. I remember laying on the physical therapy table having a treatment done. Rain was coming down and the next time I know Devin (was with me in the room) and myself had to yell almost to talk as the tin roof was being pelted. Which at the time we thought was just a bad down pour of rain. My therapist came in the room and said "there are cars outside with windows blown out from hail". I flew up off the table and said "OMG I sure hope its not that bad and our new car was speared". Get out to the lobby only to see piles of hail that looked like snow. Once it let up Devin and myself walked out to get a better look at our car. What I seen was not a good sight. It looked like someone had taken a sledge hammer to the cars in the parking lot. My new car was no longer drivable or able to be fixed. Neal and I had just bought the car a week and a half prior. I'm very glad I wasn't in the car driving at the time the hail hit. The spot Devin sat had a decent pile of hail. Here are a few pics of our Sunfire

Good grief! I've seen a lot of hail, but nothing to compare to that. What a mess! Janet
