Fondest Memories

Share one of your fondest memories of a special time with one of your grandparents..

I have a few wonderful memories of special times with my Birth Grandparents. They would have me come spend a month during the summer vacation from school. It was a great time one on one with them. We would go out for breakfast with some CB friends my Grandparents. My favorite CB friend was "Tinny Bubbles", he would talk to me over the CB at their house. Every time he was close to Austin he would get on there and say hey this is Tinny Bubbles, are you ready for breakfast. We would also go stay at a friend of their to help them out with their pig farm. Grandma & Grandpa would drive the camper to their house and we would stay in the camper. Some people thought I was crazy. Because I always got excited to go help on the farm. The joy of seeing new piglets born. Was a great joy. I didn't like the part of giving shots, cutting teeth and cutting their tails. My Grandpa would try to do that when I was out of the barn. Baby pigs are so darn cute and lovable..

Once I was put into foster care, things changed and it breaks my heart. I lost that special time with my Grandparents. As well as the joy of helping bring new life into this world.
