Ten things about ME~
1. I have recently moved back to my home town. After moving away at the young age of 13. (long story)
2. My family is #1 above anything. As I didn't really have a family growing up and don't want that for my boys.
3. I have a very low self esteem and feel like a failure no matter what I do.
4. I grew up in a foster home from the time I was 13 til two weeks before I turned 21. So if I tried to count the number of sisters I have it would be a large number. I do have 2 half brothers, 1 half sister that I know personally. I have 3 half sisters from my birth father's side that I do not know.
5. I lost my very best friend 2 years ago to suicide. May she rest in peace. I WILL ALWAYS LOVE HER AND SEE HER AS MY BEST FRIEND/SISTER!
6. I'm very blessed to have my 2 boys. As I almost lost both of them during the pregnancy. Was on bed rest 6 months out of the nine. Wish I could of had more.
7. I no longer have my birth mark. As it was on the left side of my face. The Dr's removed it at a very young age. It was a possible cancer risk and also was one that would of grown over my face. I have a scar to prove that, which for years was a major issue for me
8. I'm on who has a hard time trusting people. When I do it seems like I get hurt from people. As I'm to dang nice.
9. I am now trying to get the records of my paternity test results to know my birth father is truly my birth father.
10. I'm very blessed to have the wonderful life I have now with my husband and boys. As well as being able to be a stay at home mom. I don't take that for granted.
I would like to now tag BonnieRose (http://alifeunrehearsed.blogspot.com/) and Noelia (http://www.noeliaevangelista.blogspot.com/)

Maureen I know what #3 is like. And I know it's not true. It's hard to see yourself from other perspective though. Thank you for sharing such thoughtful things about yourself. Good luck with finding the information about your father.
I wish you the best with finding out about your birth father; I'm sure it will help to know one way or another. You made a very touching list here. TFS :)

Maureen, I can relate to #3 and I'm sorry you had to experience #5. I just want to say that you're a special woman and a thoughtful friend. You're golden and I'm not just saying that...I mean it and you better believe it! I'll be praying for you and this new journey you're taking, I'll be here for you if you need to talk.
Love you LOTS!
HUGS
