Close call again with Hail

Yesterday around noon Devin & myself were headed to Northfield. To bring my Mother-In-Law to Burnsville. As we got closer the sky was getting darker and darker. Turned onto HWY 3 outside of Dundas and it started to rain. Within a mile (by Target) we couldn't see as the rain was coming down so fast and hard. At the stop light right by Target we couldn't see the building. Start to head to my Inlaws home and the sirens sounds. For fear of what happened August 24th last year. I turned as quick as I could to get back to Target. Devin was so scared he was screaming. I parked at the closest spot I could find and we ran inside the store. Much to my surprise Neal and other customers were looking out the doors watching. I'm glad I turned around and went to Target. The location of my inlaws home was getting hit by quarter size hail. Thank god nothing as bad as last year happened. But the fear was brought back to all of us in Northfield. Somebody was looking down on us to be spaired the damage again.

Now it just amazes me that we can not seem to get away from this strange weather. Hate to say it but can not wait for cooler weather to be here.

Yikes! That would be scary under any circumstances, but especially with what you went thru. The Midwest has had plenty of rough weather lately. I'm with you...hurry up, fall! Janet
