Enjoying the weekend

This past weekend we decided to take a trip down to Lowe's. He wanted to get a chain saw. I must say I can not wait til next spring to get my flowers for around the house. They have the best selection I have ever seen around my area. I've fallin in love so to say with Lowe's flower garden. As you can see by the photos I'm sharing these are some beautiful flowers.

On our way home I asked Neal to stop by "Remember When" scrapbook store in the Medford Outlet Mall. I don't usually find alot there, but love to see some of the wonderful projects they have on display. Got some neat ideas. Took pics of them so I can try to make them one of these days. Will share them so you all can see when I've made them. The worker behind the counter showed me the neat Minnie Mouse the new Cricut Expression makes. I want to get one of them. Going to wait until the prices come down and all the problems are worked out. Might come in handy if I do any bulletin board at Devin's new school, like I did at the old one.

Next to the scrap store just a few doors down is a wonderful Antique Store called "Mustard Seeds". If your ever in the southern part of Minnesota near Medford Outlet Mall stop in and check this store out. I love it. Took some pictures of the great find from Sunday. I love the old furniture. Love seeing these old cameras. I could spend so much money in this store.

Now more then ever I would love to get some of these antique items. Having our home built in 1890 with some of the original wood work still in it. This furniture would match perfectly. MIght have to start saving a little bit each week to get one of these items for my dining room. Walking thru this store Neal kept saying I bet "My Grandmother has some of these items in her home". Which I'm sure is very true because she is going to be 99 this Nov. Has lived in her home up until last summer. I told Neal maybe when the time comes that they clean her house out we could buy a piece from her to have as a keep sake. I would pay for it in a heart beat.

I have to share with you all this wonderful sign I found as we were walking out of the store. I love what it says.
"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away"
Hoping to head down there to pick this sign up to hang in my home.
Hope you all enjoyed my post and the pictures I've shared
