2peas challenge and other news update

I want to start out with my Two Peas In A Bucket Challenge. Which is post a recent LO that you love. The most recent LO I have don't that I love is this one for Austin's book. It is of him & an old friend swimming. I like this alot do to the fact of using my new Cricut Machine. The lettering is wonderful. I feel so much behind on his book, so I'm trying very hard to work on this as much as I can from day to day. I'm also behind on my yearly goal of scrapping 365 pages for 2006.

On another note I have finally gotten a Cricut Machine. I want to take the time to Thank my wonderful husband for getting this item for me. Its my anniversary gift. Our 3 year wedding anniversary is on August 21st. I didn't expect to get this but he sure does surprise me. It was nice as I was able to get this for less then $200 using a Micheal's coupon!!!!! Thanks to my ex-sil for letting me know they were taking them on this item.

Now to more exciting news. Neal & I went and bought a new car Monday night. Well its not brand new but close enough. Its a 2005 Pontiac Sunfire, with only 33,000 miles on it. I have posted a photo of this as well for you all to see. I am a little sad to say we got rid of the van, but knew someday it was gonna have to be done. We got a great deal. Something very strange happened at the car dealer as well. While we are sitting there talking to the dealer, I look over and notice my Best Friend's husband. I was in total shock. As I haven't seen him since the funeral a year ago in Feb. I almost started crying right then and there. I must say its nice to own such a new car. Lots different then the van or truck.

Tommorrow I take Devin to meet his 1st grade teacher. We also found out who's Austin's was just today. So when I'm there I want to see if she in at school. I can maybe set something up for him to meet her before surgery.

The official meet the teacher is August 31st and this is the day Austin has his surgery. Not to much longer now and they will be back in school. I'm hoping to find a part time job during the day. hope you are all having a good week.
