Its been a few days since my last post. For that I'm sorry things have been crazy over the week. The beginning of the week I had Devin home sick. Of course I caught the bug, my sinus have been a mess all week. I'm glad that I don't have to go to a job, so I can be home with my sick. After all they want their Mommy when they don't feel well. You will see the picture of Devin in his costume and pumpkins. He was so excited to go Trick Or Treating. Neal wanted to take him around the neighborhood. I stayed home to hand candy for all the kids that come around. Much to our surprise we didn't have many kids. Neal said there wasn't many houses in the neighborhood that had their lights on. Sure hope its not a sign of this tradition is slowly fading away. Devin only wanted to go around two blocks and was ready to come home. Much to our surprise. He had fun. I have to wait to share a picture of Austin in his costume til he comes to visit next.
Thursday I went with Lisa the PTA president to get candy for the carnival we are having at school this coming Friday. We got a huge cart full for just under $100. Then off to Menard's to get the rest of supplies we needed to some of the games. Should be tons of fun for the kids and their families.
We have also been helping Neal's parents get use to their new computer. A week ago we took them to buy a computer. I've been teaching them how to get online and check email. Its going good they just need to not be afraid they are gonna do something wrong. Once they get the hang of it they will enjoy doing all the emailing and web searching they want. They can also read newspaper articles their oldest granddaughter writes. As well as the youngest granddaughter in her second year of college.
Our weekend is a nice mello one. Neal and myself have been both fighting the sinus crud. Last night we were sitting and watch TV messing with wooden dools. We had such a fun time laughing. In fact Neal had tears in his eyes. Then Suzy got all mad thinking he was hurting me and started growling at him. She went after her little toy and attacked it. We had fun.
