My boys were on Spring Break all last week. The first days was 80 some degrees!!! Then it was rainy the rest of it. But we did make the best of it. On Wednesday the 28th, we went to the Mall of America with my best friend Tammy and her son Christopher. Got a cute picture of the boys sitting on Donald Duck in the Disney store. We didn't get the chance to go play at Lego Land. I did get some pictures of the ones hanging over Lego Land. It wasn't a very long time spent there as the boys were getting tired of walking and wanted to go home. It was fun tho as I haven't been there in years.
On Thursday of spring break, we spent the day with Neal. He took the day off as he worked over night with his best friend painting at the resturant over night. We took our new car up to get the mud flaps put on. Then went to lunch at White Castle (Neal loves them). Did some shopping the the Dollar Tree, Wal-Mart, and Target. Was a rainy day but was nice just to hang out. Austin missed out as he wanted to be wtih his dad for all of Spring Break.
Friday's I normally meet Tammy at Caribou for coffee. Instead she called and wanted us to go with her to the cities. We stopped on the way to get our coffee. And off to a neat store called Unique. Its a used store (kinda like the Goodwill). She is a very slow/pokey shopper. We were there for almost 2 hours. Yes you read that right 2 hours at one store. I was dont way before her. Stopped at Half Price Books. Didn't find anything that caught my eye. As it was hard to look with two very tired boys. Came home and relaxed.
Sunday, I was looking forward to the kids going back to school. I had a surprise when I looked at the calendar and well "No School" for Monday. I was in shock as they just had a week off. This was for Teacher Work Shop.
Back to normal today YEA!!!!

Sounds like you had a lot of fun during your week off. We had our spring break back in March! I'm a little like your friend, I'm a slow shopper when I'm alone but when I'm with my kiddos, I grab and pay in less than 10 minutes lol! I've heard so much about the Mall of America, never been there, it sounds like fun!
