Were you a good Student

Well lets see were should I start? I wasn't a very good student in school. My middle school years were OK. But then what do you expect from someone going into foster care at 13. It was a very hard thing to get adjusted to. Then, when I got to High school it wasn't the best either. Grades were not good, barely made it each grade level. Tired to do the best I could and that never seemed to show on test scores. My senior year, I attended Tech College and only went to high school for 3 hours and the rest there. But would often sign myself out and go shopping. That was one thing I hide from my foster parents. Back then if you were 18 you could sign yourself out. I sit back and look at it now and wish I could do it all over again. I also think I had some learning issues that went uncaught. Maybe if I would of been tested and could of gotten help with my schooling. Just maybe I would of went on to college. Never did I was always afraid I wouldn't make it in College. The best way I learn is hands on not by text books.
