Crazy weekend, glad its done

Seems like there is no end in sight for the craziness at our home. Last week Neal worked both job the first three days so it was me and Devin. Then Thursday & Friday he had to travel to help set up a new store about 40 mins away. We had our taxes done and had dinner afterwards on Thrusday. After spending the day with my sister, Alssia and Andrew before she went back to work. It was nice as we went for lunch. Friday was taking Devin to his dad's for the weekend. Which is a whole nother story, for another time. Saturday I spent the day with my sister, two nieces and new nephew shopping in Rochester. It was alot of fun just spending the day shopping and enjoy our time together. My boys were on visits so thats why they were not with me. Once we were done at the mall. We decided to head over to Savers, to see if we could find any great deals.

One of the best things I bought that day was a new LAPTOP!!!! Thats right I'm not longer sharing a computer with hubby. Wow, I love this new Windows Vista software. Cool thing to is if I ever need one its got a web cam built in it. I got back to town just before 5p.m. which was a good thing so I could make it to the mall in town. As I needed to pick up a Baptism gift for my niece. Once I was home Neal & I just had a quiet night home alone the two of us. Since we haven't seen much of each other these last few days.

Sunday morning we got up early to make it to my brothers house in time for Tatum's Baptism. Neal & I were asked a few weeks back to be her God Parents. I felt honored that they asked us to do this for Tatum. She did great and didn't cry til the end of service when the Father walked her and the other baby thru the church for everyone to see. Her little dress was one that has been passed down in my bro girlfriend's family. She looked so darn cute. After the service we headed back to their house for brunch. I love the one photo were she his staring up at her daddy with a little grin. So darn cute

Then we came home to spend the rest of the day relaxing and waiting for Devin to arrive home from his weekend visit.

Aren't family times the best? Even with your boys away for the weekend you get love from the extended family. Being God parents is a honor and responsibility! Congrats to you for being chosen to help care for Tatuml. Gayle
