My favorite local band is in need of prayers

Those of you who know me at all know I am a big fan of the Killer Hayseeds. It breaks my heart to be writing this post.

Back in June they lost one of their members, Ross Florand. He was a wonderful person. Always had a smile on his face.

Now there is another member in need of prayers. Please keep Darrin Essary in your prayers. Yesterday (Friday) Darin Essery is in the hospital at North Memorial. He fell off a roof this morning catching his feet in the scaffolding and falling 12 feet onto his head. He suffered a bad brain injury. He came out of surgery where the surgeons created a 2 inch hole to relieve the pressure and stop any bleeding. He is now in ICU and it will be a few days to really see how he comes out. Pray that his brain does not continue to swell and that they are able to keep the swelling to a minimum and, of course, that he comes out of this OK.
