With Neal off on his little hick. Devin, Bella and myself had a great time walking the shoreline. Looking for rare/different looking rocks. Over the past five years we've built a decent collection. Hoping someday we will have a fish tank with them. Bella and I found a nice log to sit on and let Devin play. He was having a great time playing in the sand with all the rocks he found. Not long after Bella started to rest some. I told him to go ahead, take off his socks and shoes to go into the water. The scrapper I am of course the camera was ready to get his reaction of the water temp. As most of you know Lake Superior is known for being really cold. The temp didn't effect him for long. He was collecting his rocks on shore to bring in the water. I loved seeing the joy on his face as he was using his imagination. Before we knew it the beach was filling up with many families coming to enjoy the beach as well. He watched some skip rocks. That's one thing I've never been able to do so I couldn't teach him how to skip rocks. I was feeling a little bad that I totally forgot to bring his swimming trunks so he could go in further, he didn't have an issue with it. I did however. Wow, I could sit all day watching him play, listening to the waves.
In the slide show you will see a bridge over the water. You have to walk ove
r that to get to the beach. This is were all the waterfalls feed into Lake Superior. It was the first year we didn't walk those trails. We have in the years past. I'll look for those photos to share how beautiful the waterfalls can be. Each one is a little different. If your ever up in the area its a must see in my eyes.
